Return Policy
We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@semalhandicrafts.com, mentioning "PRODUCT RETURN <Order ID> in the Subject Line of the Email. The replacement will be issued to you with no additional cost.
Shipping and COD charges are non refundable. A Credit Note will be created against only the COD payment, which can be used against any future purchase from SemalHandicrafts.com. The Credit Note cannot be encashed at any stage.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt, and in case of any defect, damage or if you have received a wrong item than the one you ordered, contact us immediately by mailing us at info@semalhandicrafts.com with your Order ID and also sending us a snapshot of the defect in the same email, We will evaluate the issue and take appropriate action in case of any fault or error.
If you have to cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped.
If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount, including the Shipping Charges.
In case you wish to cancel the order after it has been shipped, please do not accept the package from the Courier Delivery and return it immediately. The amount refunded to you in such a case would be only for the products and not the Shipping Charges. The refund will be initiated after the product is received back by Semal Handicrafts in its original unopened packing.
Incase we do not have pick up service available at your location, you will have to self ship the product. The courier charges, or a maximum of INR 150, would be given to you as a Credit Note for reverse shipping.

We unfortunately do not have any COD or exchange policy for international customers.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch with us if you have questions or concerns about these specific items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another product of higher amount, we will give you a Credit Note for the returned item, and while placing order for the new item, you pay the balance amount.
If you want to exchange your product with another product of lower amount, we will ship the new product as soon as we receive the product to be exchanged sent by you, and the balance amount will be refunded back to you. You can also opt for credit note for the balance amount, which can be used for your next purchase.
Shipping and COD charges are non refundable. A Credit Note will be created against the COD payment in case of any exchange of product.
Once you opt for credit note, you cannot encash it later.
Product bought during sale are non-refundable.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@semalhandicrafts.com.
International Orders:
- If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped.
- If you cancel your order before your product has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
- If incase you want to return the products, the shipping, customs or any other additional charges so incurred during the shipment of the product to you, or upon being returned to Semal Handicrafts, would have to be borne by you. Once we have received the product/s, a quality check would be done by our team. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you courier it back to us.
- The amount refunded to you would be only for the products. Shipping charges are non refundable.
- If you receive any defective product, do contact us immediately by mailing us at info@semalhandicrafts.com with your Order ID and send us a snapshot of the defect. We will either provide you a credit note or refund the amount of that defective product.
- We do not have an exchange policy for international customers.
